Could you ever pull for another program?

If I did it would be my alma mater, the University of Maryland, but after the way they did Ralph Friedgen wrong I can't spend a dollar on them either and neither will a lot of other alums. For those who need a quick refresher:

2009: Maryland goes 2-10, wins 2 games by 3 points each. If you want to fire him at that point go ahead, but he is brought back for the next season.

2010: Maryland goes 9-4, including a bowl win. Friedgen is fired (after being announced he'd be back the next season) and the infamous Randy Edsall era begins. If you are going to give the man a year to right the ship, how much better than 9-4 can you really expect.

This season is over so no point to waste my saturdays. I’ll tune back in when heads roll.

Canes or nothing.

Depends. I am all in on the school my kid goes to.
This is common with people I know. Respectable way of getting out of this crap show. Lol

“You know who else has a mediocre architecture program little Johnny.. the University of Alabama” 🤞🙏

Tried to specify w/o getting long winded.

Could you see yourself following recruiting ? Going to games annually? Season tickets? Learn to love again?

No. I actually have some real life examples. I grew up in Miami in the 70's - 80's, parents from Philly. So I grew up as a hard core fan of the Phillies, Sixers, and Flyers. I walked away from all of those teams over time.

Living in the Bay Area for 20 years I "rooted" for the A's, Giants, Warriors and Sharks. It was fun living in a market where the local teams won 6 titles (3 world series for the Giants and 3 NBA titles for the Warriors. ) I rooted for them but I could never call myself a fan of those teams. The "tell" was that when they started to suck again, it was easy to turn the TV off. lol.

Compare that to me flying across the country and sitting through every single play of the last game ever in the Orange Bowl watching the hapless Canes defense fail to stop UVA from beating them 48-0.
