Could we have King for TWO years?

He has very little chance of being a top 3-4 QB in this class. But the following class is significantly weaker. Added XP and a weak class could vault him into a top 3 QB and potentially 1st rnd. The #6 QB went in the 4th round last draft and # 5 was the lone 2nd rounder. All others 1st round. There is actual incentive to stay.

I wonder how this ruling is going to affect recruiting? If this ruling goes thru and the NCAA doesn't expand scholarships, there will be fewer scholarships available for next year's recruits.

King under center to open against Bama after using this season to get the offense humming?

The only way I see him staying is if he thinks he has a chance to beat Clemson, Alabama, Georgia and LSU to make it to the championship.

I’d love an extra year with King but if he balls out this year, he’s gone. He could very easily be the second QB off the board if he plays his cards right. The only way he comes back is if he gets hurt or the season gets canceled

No shot he's in the first 3 QBs to go.

Imo If all the dominoes fall in place eligibility wise the only real possible scenarios for a year six are an injury, a Covid shortened season or him thinking we have a legit shot at a NC in 2021 and wanting to be a part of that.

That or he feels next years QB draft class gives him a much better chance at going high. Or any combination of things.
