Helfrich is a goner if they lose that game. He's almost as much of a dead man walking as Strong.

The only thing that might give him an outside chance of saving his job is the school's love for stability in the coaching staff. A lot of their assistants have been around for 20+ years and there's a strong possibility a new head coach would replace them.
 
Always liked the way Oregon played when they were close to the top. Hope they don't just die out and disappear like SOME PROGRAMS we know. Phil Knight should open his wallet again.

Which is crazy... UO knows absolutely nothing about defense. I can understand their system of stability if they won a nc but they haven't. They need to get some ACC or SEC defensive coaches.
