About half the tix have been sold and distributed to people in Dallas and surrounding areas who buy directly from the Cotton Bowl.

I also think that a lot depends on where the seats are located. Still, we are playing the LARGEST UNIVERSITY BY UNDERGRAD POPULATION, so I think there will be some strong demand.

Do we know where the canes tickets are? I assume C130’s C230’s, etc but not sure how Cotton Bowl does it
Mine are in section 144. I think a lot will be in 140-145s, and similar in the 2, 3 and, 4 levels. It's the sections that are empty on seat geek

There are some available from the school in 440-450 from the extras. Not worth getting for resale because there are similar tickets for sale that would get you less than that after fees.

Prices MAY go down again a day or two before the game but they've already crept up a little from the bottom yesterday afternoon.

When we were offered the chance to purchase, it just "described" the area, but did not mention sections. So there was a $400 ticket, which I presume is lower down than my seats, and the "second-best" ticket was the $350 ticket described as "mezzanine club".

I do know that some of the less expensive tickets were corners and end zones, and I believe that we have somewhere between 10,000 and 20,000 tickets for Miami fans to be distributed by the UM Ticket Office. But GENERALLY, we are on the "visitors" side.

If I am transferring my tickets, I will have to do that through SeatGeek, correct?

I do not believe that you are REQUIRED to do so, it's just "easier" to do so.

If you were to use StubHub (which I did once because SeatGeek was glitching), there is a way to do a TRANSFER that does not use the literal transfer mechanism on the UM website. I believe that you do it with the bar code number.

It takes an hour or two for the upload to go to through to StubHub, but once it does, everything is fine. I think it actually transfers to StubHub FIRST, and then is re-transferred to whoever buys the tix.
