That’s revisionist. On paper that was a great haul for us at the time. Scaife was stone walling people left and right from the camp circuit to the all star game. We did lack along the DL that class. We actually got a DT in Nesta, but that was it and DE was nada. On paper that 08 class was better than this Gator class though.
Their DE class is very good as well. The problem is that very good is most of their class, with little to no difference makers.
With the new rule where analysts can now legally coach on field positions (not during games yet), doesn’t that shut down the speculation?

Deion never covered Irvin in college. He covered Brian Blades because of Blades speed. Irvin was too Big and Strong for Deion. Even in the NFL Irvin abused him more often than not when they were rivals.

Deon's speed to bait 1980 and 90 slow wrs (mostly) and the qbs were terrible as well most of em. He baited qbs then used his speed. U can't do that in todays game u will get destroyed
I would say Revis went up against more complete guys and better qbs. Just the modern game is vastly superior to back in primes time
