This. I could care less about a DB. Literally has a decimal point of impact on the next season plus. The house is on fire and people are worried about the landscaping.

Well, going back to Golden we went from inexpensive "program builder" to expensive "program builder" to inexpensive "program builder" to very expensive "program builder." Eventually someone richer than Ruiz will start pulling the strings and force UM to hire a talented Xs and Os coach- maybe[BGCOLOR=initial] we'll finally get off the hamster wheel. [/BGCOLOR]

Have any of you seen Cormani in real life? Saw him at the FSU game and the kid is incredibly thin and frail.

Lots of potential but he isn’t on the can’t miss tier like Patrick Johnson and some other CBs we missed out on were.

Time to spend that Cormani money elsewhere… can we use it to hire a new OC?

CaneSport reached out to a source close to the situation, and he said that “the entire Miami defensive coaching staff” showed up at Lakeland High today. The idea, of course, was to meet with McClain and make that final push down the stretch to make sure he sticks in the class.

Just one problem: McClain wasn’t at school today. Rumors are flying that he’s on a plane on the way to a visit, maybe Colorado or Alabama (including one report that he is indeed on a Colorado visit), or that he just didn’t want to spend time with coaches at a school he’s not going to wind up attending.

The source says “no one here has any idea, any clue” what he’s doing.
Nobody seems to know what is going on with McClain.

As for that anticipated announcement he’s been mentioning to people here and there regarding a decision coming on Sunday?
“From what I’ve heard I don’t think anything is happening Sunday,” the source said. “If it does, I’d be shocked.”

So the drama might continue. McClain at one point was supposed to enroll early. Not anymore. There were rumors a documentary is being filmed and he’s drumming up content for it.
“I’ve never seen a camera team following him,” the source in Lakeland said.

Apparently the Miami defensive staff was more than gracious despite McClain’s no-show. They could have been upset, left in a hurry, etc. Instead they stayed and spent time with the Lakeland coaches. At one point one of the high school coaches even asked Miami coordinator Kevin Steele what formations give him the biggest issues. Steele got up and started drawing it all up on a nearby white board.
“The staff there is great, that coaching staff is relentless,” the source said. “Those dudes are great. They roll with the punches, move on. They’ve been recruiting forever.”
The bottom line, final thought on the McClain situation from the source?
“This is what NIL was going to create,” he said.

There’s a really good NIL deal on the table. Just like with Hunter last year. Don’t believe the “ kids passed up millions in NIL to play for coach prime“ bs. It’s always about the cash.
Definitely a big NIL bag is involved he's not going there just bc he loves the coach. Said it before many top recruits said Deion called them up on signing day to flip them and they all laughed in his face.

Only Cormani took the bait so best of luck to him and we move...

Deion will disappear once he starts getting his *** kicked at Colorado. He’s not a good coach.
TBF, we dont know if hes a good coach or not. hes only been at JSU and he did well there. this will be his first true test on the p5 level.

Yeah but this ain’t about money

These kids are infatuated with Deion and think having him as their mentor is worth more than NIL

It is what it is. Deion will get CBs , Mario gets OL, etc
Definitely don’t get why they’re infatuated but more power to him ig.
None of the top corners in the league were coached by Deion.

he may not coach the room and idk if Deion plans on being hands on, but other HCs w an expertise in that area do take a more hands on approach. It's been known that saban is hands on w the CBs. smart is too
After they have spent years putting together the program structure and culture.

Worst defensive performances in Miami hurricanes history, and he thinks he’s gonna pull a kid over Prime time? That’s delusional.

We gotta pay him double what the regular price was for that

Let em cope lol. Until they realize CB is still a massive glaring hole in this roster
smh I just don't even know what to say anymore. Every single year these guys watch 5 star stacked teams smoke the less talented ones in the playoffs meanwhile they think their 5-7 team can afford to miss on these dudes 😂

Bruh…Hunter hasn’t even played Power 5 football yet lol
Hasn’t even played against group of 5 offenses lol

Love to see if he still chooses to play both ways with WR and Corner… he’s fixing to take the big leap and we’re going to find out quickly if he can play or not.
