Why are we assuming we reached out to him?

His camp came out and said they have had no contact from Miami.

I think its more likely that this was not the case. We would have given him more than 375.

Peter's sources have been wrong before.

He has been the most consistent lately but he missed on the report about Kehoe being offered a job here.

I think it more likely that we decided to go with two guys rather then he choose 375 over us.

Also Les is already on the hot seat and they have a tough schedule next year. They will likely lose 3 games next year as well and not make the SEC ship.

I also tend to think this Rumph hire has been part of the plan. It just makes sense to bring him on. He is a former player an up and coming coach at one of the top high schools in SFL that has been driving kids away from the U. He fits here in many ways.

We probably did offer him more then 375k but that doesnt mean hes willing to leave his alma mater. He's probably banking that Les is retained or whatever new coach will keep him there.. he's elite.. not someone you can easily replace.

How do you know Ariz "missed" on the Kehoe report??? Petey stood by the report and the only other person to report otherwise was Susan... your going to take her word over Petes? lol

Everyone knew Richt and Rumph had a relationship.. but if you think hes not going to try and snag Corey Raymond over a guy who isnt going anywhere.. then I dont know what to tell you buddy..
