Corey Flagg quote

So we don’t practice tackling or playing disciplined sound football? Seems like the drunk coed flag football game at the company picnic is run better than a Manny practice.

Tf does his fitness or natural ability have to do with the idea that sloppy play is a result of sloppy practicing? Kid spoke some truth for once, you guys sound like a bunch of hurt teammates who just got called out for being lazy. And it's not like he said other people practice like that but not him.

Key’Drop Smith also helped us beating ourselves tonight. I counted at least 3, which while not dumb penalties, kept us from moving the chains.

Two of his drops were on very bad throws by TVD.

He beat his man on a Fade route in the beginning of the 3rd quarter & TVD just over threw him & on the play that ended up in a Harley pure luck TD, TVD threw the ball behind him & way too high.

But Omarion Cooper was busting his *** in Press man one on one coverage for most of the game, he essentially won his matchup & that’s on Key...

But most of those drops were legit just bad throws & bad ball placement by TVD.

I’m not gonna trash on the kid. He plays hard, he’s young, but he’s limited physically. That said, I think he just threw the staff under the bus
We had 1 PBU - 1. They had 8. Speaks volumes about coverages or lack there of.

That’s fair. I was surprised by how tight their DBs were on our receivers all night, and a lot of that might be perception skewed by Cooper’s performance. But, if it hits you in the hands…

I asked for more Brinson prior to the game and I'd have liked to see him matched up with Cooper using those long, skinny arms against him. At the very least, I speculate Brinson wins a few slants against him.

Yeah, one of Brinson’s strong suites coming out of HS was he did really well making contested catches vs DB’s draped all over him in coverage.

Key Smith doesn’t appear to have the physicality to deal with aggressive Press man Corners.
