### Al Golden made clear on WQAM’s Hurricane Hotline that he is still waiting for a dominating defensive tackle to emerge among Calvin Heurtelou, Courtel Jenkins and Michael Wyche.

“Those guys really need to step up,… take a big jump,” Golden said. “We need to see someone from that group separate themselves. This is the healthiest [Wyche] has been.”

Though Heurtelou and Jenkins have played well at times, UM isn’t going to be elite again until it gets superior defensive tackle play (among other things).

### Golden’s message, via his WQAM show, to defensive lineman Ufomba Kamalu: “Don’t think so much. Be a bit more reckless. He can disrupt in the pocket. He can turn and run. He needs to get back to doing that.”

take your own advise AG..please stop ******* over thinking this ****. Let the players play

Biggest problem from a personnel standpoint is DT.

No ifs ands or buts about it. Just re-watched the 05 Va Tech game. Even back then we had some disruptive DTs and DE's on that team that wreaked havoc on M Vick that night.

Second biggest deficiency is Safety.

Don't think so much??

Yet you got the kid stuck in the cement bcuz of your scheme

This kid would be a major problem on any other attacking defense. **** this fat ******

Get over it we have enough talent on Defense. Blitz

In other words, we will only stop people if we have Vince Wilfork, Kenny Holmes and Kennard Lang on the DL with Ray Lewis, Michael Barrow, Jon Vilma and Darrin Smith at LB and Bennie Blades, Ed Reed, Sean Taylor and Antrel Rolle in the secondary. Got it.

I like that he's "still waiting" for a dominant DT to emerge. How about signing one and/or developing one instead of putting out milk and cookies every night and waiting for one to slide down the chimney?

When Luther Robinson did that against BC, D'OHNOfrio went ballistic on him and sat him for the next 3 or 4 games, prompting his dad to go off to the media. The stinch is getting high around the Gables. Man's a walking contradiction.
