Not that he's a good DC, but I honestly believe Dorito will be a tad bit better now that he's not handcuffed to Al Golden.

1. Butch golden's "process" has played out!
2. Malzahn has played out
3. Kelly-if they want to pony up the $$$
4. Freeze will be canned for the waste of their $$$

Most of the coaches kept on that list were either because of money, such as Notre Dame, or there was nobody clearly head and shoulders better that was available. It's a dangerous game firing a coach because you think you can do better. Tennessee is example numero uno when they got rid of Fulmer. The entire SEC has been chasing Saban with their firings and mismanagement of programs and almost every program is worse off for it. In fact, after Bama, the SEC is dog excrement.

Why do we care on this site?

Because in most cases, every one of their assistants will be out of a job in case Miami is looking to upgrade or replace their own departures.
Because all those open coaching positions will have to be filled, maybe some by coaches currently on UM's staff.
Because an opening at a hated rival means an opportunity for them to replace a bad coach with a good one.
Because some of their players may be interested in transferring.
Because some of their commits who were previously interested in UM will reopen their recruitment.
Because some of their prospects who are also interested in UM will be less interested in attending the school that just fired their whole staff.

Are those enough reasons to have at least a casual interest in what happens at other big time programs for you?
