Yea Michigan State game and they had to rely on a true freshman kicker against App State week 2 to win. No chance they would have won 6 games with Williams as QB.

I am not one who thinks Mario is the greatest thing to ever happen but if you cant see the difference between those two records and where the program is now entering year 4 vs where it was headed if Manny continued into his year 4 its hard to take you seriously.

Everyone knows Mario has his flaws but atleast he excels what he’s an expert at. Mannys defense sucked and I’ve never seen good lb play aside from Shaq.

Atleast you can see a clear blue print with Mario and the roster passes the eyeball test. Manny it was just whatever was in the portal and taking 3 star sfl dawgs which led to that abortion of a 2022 roster with walk ons playing.

Nailed it. Manny is the worst coach I’ve seen come here. Scheme, recruiting, leadership, talent and roster evaluation.

Look, I’m not defending Manny. He was mediocre at best. I’m just saying Mario has been given EVERYTHING that previous UM coaches would have killed for. If given the same resources as Manny or Richt or even Golden, would his record be any better?

Manny will always be a good DC, but he will never be a good HC. The guy doesnt have the sack. You can point at records, resources, whatever you want.

With some people, its very easy to tell whether he has what it takes or he does not.

Manny Diaz is The JD for football, for Miami. May have experience, and has been around the game a long time, but has never grew a real set of balls to get over the hump.

Sorry.. But I disagree about being a good DC... Like Guidry, once Manny gets figured out he's helpless... Cannot out scheme quality OC's especially during a game...

I agree I thought they all did a solid job. Another positive even tho she wasn’t in the movie very long is that Julie Bowen looks very good at her age.
