I am not one who thinks Mario is the greatest thing to ever happen but if you cant see the difference between those two records and where the program is now entering year 4 vs where it was headed if Manny continued into his year 4 its hard to take you seriously.

Definitely a gator or nole troll. Probably mad that we got rid of Diaz and our team is not a pushover anymore. Not saying we are good now under Mario, but we are at least a stronger and more competitive team.

Also, if the troll was really following this site and threads, the troll would see that most of us are tough on Mario. We think he’s made many mistakes and needs to do better, especially considering the resources he’s been given. There are only a handful of true Mario bros that think he can do no wrong. The rest of us are realists and will provide constructive criticism where/when needed.

22 wins vs 21 wins. The guy with one more career win at Miami has an almost unlimited budget for NIL and assistants.

Maybe this is the year Mario actually wins something of substance and separates himself from the Manny Diaz’s and Mark Richt’s but until that happens, he’s just a more expensive version of them.

Trajectory is important. Manny’s ship was sinking or treading water at best. Mario seems to have elevated the floor

If Manny had Cam Ward in 2021, would they have gone 7-5? What would Mario’s 2024 record have been without him? Having the ability to buy kids away from the NFL draft has kept us from having back to back seasons of Emory Williams.

Look, I’m not defending Manny. He was mediocre at best. I’m just saying Mario has been given EVERYTHING that previous UM coaches would have killed for. If given the same resources as Manny or Richt or even Golden, would his record be any better?

Sorry you are not happy with how Miami is spending your money. If you are too dumb to see the difference between dIAZ and Mario you probably should just stop porsting.

That’s just it Manny would never have had the resources to get Cam Ward. You can’t compete at the highest levels of CFB without money. And no one was willing to pony up that money for Manny.

The money is the most important part. I don’t care how good of a coach you are you can’t compete for the natty without money. See Nick Saban at Michigan St.

King saved Manny multiple times in 2020 just like Cam saved Mario last year multiple times and then they ran King out there only to get destroyed by Bama when he clearly wasn’t 100% recovered from the ACL injury. Still ****** hate Manny for that.

I see what you are saying tho. Mario has been an absolute dud since being hired.

King got hurt in what, week 3 of the 2021 season? They were 1-2 at the time. They still managed to go 6-3 the rest of the way. Although I credit that to Rhett Lashlee, not Manny. Imagine if Cam got hurt in week three? No way they win 6 games the rest of the year. We would have finished right next to FsU in the standings.
