Eh, I actually thing he was the lone redeeming thing about that clip. He realized everyone was surprised but he stepped up to fill the void and clapped. Props to him and shame on the mom for being selfish in that spot.

1.) He was trolling. Dude has on the all red suit and bowtie. usually trying to match up with the team their committing to.
2.) Not just mom reacted like that. Lady next to mom, could be grandma or aunt...Looked like she had a stroke when he grabbed the uf hat..she covered her face..she didnt walk off but she wasnt happy either.
3.) Bama may have promised bags...
 
Sad all the way around. Which is why I have so much respect for the guys who committed and signed without all of the NSD fanfare.

These kids knew all along where they were going. Why make a spectacle out of it? Just sign and fax the **** papers and keep it moving.

IT would have been beautiful if he would had said Bama promised her a job. Fact is the kid was probably going to get something from Florida so nobody says nothing.

How is Mississippi still playing football?
 
I think they had discussed his options and Bama or Tenn was gonna be the pick and she was ok with those. It's seems to be Florida would not be the choice and when he picked them (obviously not telling her) that's why you saw the reaction you did

All jokes aside (**** the Gators), that’s ****ed up mom did that. Totally classless. Idk what’s going on behind closed doors but support your ******* kid. And if you are on the take with Bama then good for that kid.

The look on her face when he put on the Gator hat and that Bama duffle went bye bye is priceless. Tried to sell her son and he **** in her face on live ESPN. Copeland is still a big baby drama queen and we know how those usually pan out.
