Why in the name of Jerome Brown would you fire the OC and DC under any circumstance related to on-field performance but retain the head coach??? You wouldn't. Maybe this administration would, but any half-competent one wouldn't.

Well obviously it's because if we fire his butt buddy he will bounce too, we would all hope so. Lol worth the risk to me since we can't buy him out yet.
 
james firing d'onofrio and/or coley would tell every potential replacement for golden that the athletic director will go over your head and fire members of your staff. no one of worth would ever want to coach here if that were to happen. the only way james could fire either of them without that happening is if they violated the terms of their contracts or got into trouble with the law.
