Yea, no. He helped a good bit but he wasn’t some unstoppable recruiting machine that was responsible for all of our top 150 recruits. He’s definitely not irreplaceable.

Anyway good luck to him and his.

Then again they could always hire stumble**** instead since whoever hired him on field was apparently chasing after incompetence anyhow.

He'll be decent for them in that role. Texas a&m already tried to throw plenty of money at local kids anyhow. Now although Cooney is nowhere near as connected as people seem to believe. He is your basic confidence man. He's got a golden tongue(Big pause @Confidence1000 ) Lord knows Texas a&m has plenty of cash to throw around also so now when you open him up with that kind of backing and a new environment it might go well for a couple years. For them at least. Doesn't give me overwhelming concern for them beating us out for anybody though. All the same it is what it is. Personally I'm glad he's not with us anymore. But I don't wish him any I'll will. As long as it doesn't affect us Good luck to him. Sooner or later people will see him for what he actually is. Being outside of this environment I think it'll probably be a lot more difficult for him to pull the wool over that fan base's eyes.
 
At the university of Miami since CMR took over we've had numerous wide receiver coaches. Each of them from that point up until KB now (who showed progress last season), the fan base in large part considered them all horrible and failures at their position groups. From Position coaches their development and their recruiting were all widely considered below average. That's Dugans, that's Stumble****, that's Likens, yall didn't get to see what BMAC could've brought to the table good or bad, to KB. They've all had ONE thing in common...
