After going over and over in my mind how we underperformed (mainly offensively) I got to an interesting portion of Golden's post game interview. He stated that they had to shorten the playbook because of Kaaya being a freshman. At first I understood the message but it ultimately made me think that it was one more wrinkle in the "We're not there yet" saga that is the Canes under Golden. I love this team with all my heart but it becomes difficult to grasp the statements after a loss. If the playbook was shortened, why not go with the Vet that arrived earlier and may have retained more of the playbook? I just don't see how we continue to get answers on how we don't do well based on a players current mental state. There has to be a line drawn in the sand. We are out of life lines and this program depends on this season. Golden has attracted pretty good talent as of short and I pray to the heavens his decisions don't send us to the duldrums again. Not trying to be a mope but enough is enough. Lets Win... See those that will be at the first home game.

That is not a conspiracy. A conspiracy would be if Golden and Donofrio harbored some Canes hatred from the 80's and infiltrated the program with the intent to drive it into the ground. Come to think of it, this may be the only explanation for their 3-4 D and 3-Out O...

All while making M'z in the process. U might be on to something doe.
Bcuz this sht ain't right right na

I think in their minds they are laying the foundation to win in 2015 and beyond, so playing Kaaya was an easy decision. I know it's painful as ****, but if you eliminate the two boneheaded plays alone we probably win. The lateral, that's on Kaaya, Isidora that is on him and coaching. Well coached teams do not make stupid mistakes like that. My guess is we get beat by two TDs in Lincoln, but that is the next judgement day. I still love this team and this U, so I will be hoping for the best.

I share your hopes for the same reason, but reality is we are what we are a middle of the road ACC team with great talent led terrible game coaches. I am not sure you are correct in your belief other than those two plays we would have won, under the current regime we do not win those games against decent teams.
