Conspiracy Theory- Tin Foil Hat Topic. The Reason J Williams Got The Starting Job

I am in the Tate bandwagon also. Mainly because I envisioned a high paced offense. I feel bad for him if we forced him to play under center. I hope we are more open with our recruits. To be fair, maybe we were honest with what we were going to run and he wanted to come anyway. But I think Tate would have won a few games just because he would have extended plays keeping drives alive

Disappointing Enos cant even craft a few packages for Tate. Seems we tried during UF and then abandoned it, stupid.

I think he outplayed everyone. Perry did pretty good yesterday but he struggled with the deep passes last year too. I know your post isn’t about any of this but maybe it takes a while for the young players to scan the field and to go deep occasionally.
And to be fair to Williams I would like to see him in the fun running the spread like we did with Perry. Just to see how he slings the rock around.

I was there for the Spring game. Perry and Martell both outplayed Jarren by light years and I do mean light years. I was a little stunned he won the job at the end of camp. He's ok and the other two are not saviors but I don't think he's the "best" option but given the clowns running the show, I do see their misguided logic.

Our worst Safety by talent is a starter and logs a lot of minutes. Our best defensive ends are not on the field and when they are, the inexplicably do a Dorito cover slot receiver thing. We have a FG kicker who has seemingly never seen a football. We lead the world in turnovers and penalties.

The QB pick is kind of way down the list but its glaring because its the most important position on the field. I put it down on the list because the other two might have better records, might not.

Either way, our coaches are inexperienced stubborn douchebags.

I was at the same game and I agree with you. I've said JW has the talent but he seems a couple seconds slower processing stuff. Also posted before if our oline is swiss chess you better off going with Tate and Perry. The evaluation of out team talent by the coaching staff is down right scary. That is the most troubling thing.

OP
Not sure if it's an Enos conspiracy theory, but JW seemed like the "safe pick" until yesterday. NP and JW are different skill sets. Will we see JW run the O that NP got to run yesterday when we were so far behind? IDK. My bigger question is, why isn't that our base O with variations of that? Fact is, we do have some nice athletes. Better than most of the ACC. OL is awful with no immediate relief in sight. Hurry up out of gun is our only hope. We can still be a "balanced" attack, but we gotta play fast. The less plays our OL is in there, the better. We should be putting up 40, 50, 60 points routinely on these punk *** teams we play. Instead, we've turned into a punk *** team ourselves. No offense to our players intended. This is on Manny/Enos

Spot on man. Spot on, great post

Note - Not saying that Williams is trash and did not earn his position by working hard and being a good teammate, leader or lacks talent.

I was thinking about this a few weeks ago during the Bethune game. When Perry came in the offense looked different and for some reason looked better. I passed it off as garbage minutes. It looked different Mainly because Perry pushes the ball down field.

Then this Saturday, when Perry came in we started stretching the field and scoring points. We also did a lot of work out of the gun. Offense again looked like night and day. We actually were hitting big chunk plays.

Most of us read that article where Mark Ritch during his ACC network show talked about Williams before the season started. Ritch looks to have been spot on and now we probably know why he did not get minutes under Ritch. Mark stated that he was great on short and intermediate throws. Was very accurate with those throws but struggled a bit pushing the ball down field and not always knowing where to go with the ball. I guess that is why he holds the ball. Ritch also said he needed to be better in the pocket.

Puts on Tin Foil hat

Did Enos go with J Williams because he wanted to run his offense and not the preferred spread attack? And not go with the player or system that best fit our current roster?

Would Enos be that stubborn? Or Williams just out played everyone

You asking what i been saying from the get go, perry out played allof them. They just went with jw15 for a few reasons, he's safer with the ball, and the part i dont and didnt like was when coach diaz kept saying something like, "we are going with the guy who has the mentality of, he has to be the qb here" once i read that, i knew way back when they were leaning towards jarren. Hands down perry is the best qb on the roster, but coach diaz and coach enos dont like his non-chalant attitude and dont want somebody who got their own opinion. I said this before, but if perry starts, we're probably undefeated, he should've definitely had been the starter during the gaytor game, its almost like they start jw15 to keep his fragile minded *** from transferring.

Coach richt doesnt want a conservative qb, coach richt is from here, perry is from Florida, our style of play on offense is about bombing people. The worst thing that happened was coach richt retiring, coach diaz and the staff he put together is not at the level coach richt brought here. I kept telling people coach richt knows what he is doing and knows how to put a staff together, and more importantly, didnt care about outside noise. In the 3 losses, blaker not holding leads just like the penn disgrace morons. This defense has to much talent to look like its looking, blake just doesnt know how to make adjustments at this level. Him and coach enos are on the same level, coach enos seems to never take advantage of a strong running game and coach baker doesnt take advantage of having a defense that's able to stop the run. So what we have now is first off, 2 coordinators that are running their mouths to much during the week prior to games, and a new headcoach trying to find his wayl

This is why it was always silly for the people that wanted coach richt gone, coach richt is an established headcoach, was one of the last solid ones left, well respected and is a great figure head for any program and that's very important when it comes to recruiting, so for flake james to **** off coach richt and end up with coach diaz, that's a major drop off. Coach richt wasnt gone put up with some weasel like flake james trying to tell him how to run a football program. This program was on the come up under coach richt, last year was bound to happen, had coach richt stayed for this year, good things were going to start happening again.

Hopefully coach diaz is smart enuff to not use the turnovers as an excuse for this last lost, cause tirnovers havent been the issue for the other losses. Those who kept saying we should win the coastal and this and that, lol, obviously dont understand whats going on. Its more to running a program than what most think, coach richt should still be here, and coach diaz would've been better of at temple for now. But flake james keeps proving he's not to bright. Coach richt is not a yes man, and dont like soft ****, whereas flake james was groomed by the troll who castrated this football program. Wont be long before julio starts putting the heat on flake.

The problem w this theory is imo Enos always preferred Perry and what you see with 5 on the field is closest to what Enos envisioned for his offense.

Jarren won the job due to the momentum he had seized in the Fall Camps.

I always sensed a bit of hesitancy with Jarren on Enos' part.

I wanted Coach Richt to stay but he was going to have hire a QB coach and give up play calling. I really wish that's the route he would have gone.

I would not call it conspiracy. Enos came with a certain system and Jarren fit that better. Simple as that.

Enos is trash. bottom line. we can write up post after post and look deep and deeper for evidence. The concliusion will just be the same.

Enos is trash.

Coach richt didnt necessarily have to give up play-calling, we won 19 games his 1st 2 years, people kept judging coach richt with a qb who couldnt pass consistently, now that's a real oc! Look at the difference, coach enos has a more mature perry and a more mature jarren, and we 2 & 3. Do you really think coach richt would be
2 & 3 right now with more mature offensive personnel. Flake james phucked up and got on coach richt's nerves about making changes to the staff and coach richt wasnt having it. I can respect that, cause really, who in t g e **** is flake to try and tell coach richt how to run a program. Now we got coach diaz still taljing crazy, talking about "perry was uneven" **** he evened the score, brought the team back, gave the team Life, you could see the receivers playing harder for perry cause they all know the ball might be coming no matter where they at, but instead coach diaz and coach enos chose to go with the scared guy, if you got a qb unwilling to throw the ball deep, that means he has no confidence in himself, and is playing scared,
