Consider this about Lashlee...

SMU recruiting class is ranked 79th, Miami 17th. I smell chicken salad.

And so in your brilliant logic that means it’s Lashlee’s fault as the OC at SMU?

Despite the low recruiting ranks his offense could run circles around our 2919 Canes.

That’s what matters...

He had the 79th ranked recruiting class but played against C-USA competition.

Yes, he's getting a talent upgrade but that comes at the cost of playing against better competition and coaching.

We have underperforming, lazy, entitled boys on the team— if Lashlee can’t turn that attitude issue around— no amount of brilliant offensive scheme will make any difference.

I don’t question that Enos May have had his problems— but it’S PROVEN FACT that the players are also whiny little assed bytches.

Either Class20 replaces them with a new attitude or they turn it around.

Agreed. Problem is, that should be the job of the head coach, not an OC.

17th in recruiting. It’s little different (18th) in talent composite. Not very good.

I hope our recruiting doesn’t fade even more as we get away from glory years.

I hate rankings. Average star ratings are a way better indicator. Rankings are thrown off by signing 20 3 stars.

now SMU offense was in large part a function of the QB - Buecle a Transfer - Sonny at SMU used the portal a lot to find talent , in any event Rhett is a big add vrs Enos a big minus

so this is the allegedly high character kid that was referred to as the "ambassador"? LOL

Would be helpful if the rankings of all his team's opponents were also listed. I have no clue what the disparity was between SMU and their opponents, but it'd have to be proportionate to our situation to even make this kind of conclusion.
