***** rankings. If your players are lazy, entitled, and come here for "paradise", you can just throw the rankings out the window.SMU recruiting class is ranked 79th, Miami 17th. I smell chicken salad.
Stay positive, @fraggle. When you turn mope all hope is lost.SMU recruiting class is ranked 79th, Miami 17th. I smell chicken salad.
Pretty sure he is saying the former, and it's a good point. For someone slow like me, are you saying that he is going to do better with better talent of that he is not a good recruiter?
Recruiting rankings rarely take into consideration a young man's work ethic and ability to learn. I'd put SMU's football IQ a **** of a lot higher than Miami's.Better ingredients should make better chicken salad.
But he'll never get that he helped create this garbage with his trinkets, forced celebrations and dance parties.Manny will spend the rest of his life regretting the decision to hire Enos.
We can only be so lucky.Pretty sure he is saying the former, and it's a good point.
Better ingredients. Better Pizza. Papa JuansBetter ingredients should make better chicken salad.

I LOVE the hire. I think Lashlee is top notch, period. I just don't think anyone can do well if you can't instill discipline, and don't have a team smart enough to do simple things consistently. It seems like a really good hire. But this is also true. Lashlee is going to have to deal with a lower football IQ than he is used to.
I would think (hope?) that he's not that tone deaf. I suspect he saw the spark the turnover chain brought and figure the other bling would do the same. If you're winning, you're having fun, so maybe if you're having fun, you're winning. He talked smack and expected Enos' offense to back it up. That's when everything went to sht.But he'll never get that he helped create this garbage with his trinkets, forced celebrations and dance parties.
I'd simply tell them, "If you want to wear rings, win championships. If you want to celebrate, celebrate wins." Manny has brought in a mindset of short term success. A big play gets you a trophy. A win? Meh, whatever.I would think (hope?) that he's not that tone deaf. I suspect he saw the spark the turnover chain brought and figure the other bling would do the same. If I was him, the bling gets packed up, there is no celebration allowed, and if the players miss it, that's their reward for getting to the ACCCG game.
