Consider if we didn't have the penalties

Not ref blaming here, but consider where this team would be if we did not commit the penalties we have.
Against Florida, North Carolina, and CMich.
How many yards and points have we left on the table because of holding calls, or false starts?
How many chances have we given opposing offenses because we interfere, or committ a personal foul?

I'd say we'd be easily 4-0 with a blow out win V's CMich and 2 comfortable wins V's UF and NC.
Penalties are coaching issues

If my grandmother had balls, she’d be my grandfather. Penalties and lack of discipline are endemic of the coaching staph.

So where did the penalties take pts off the board today... You're an idiot.

You can guarantee Stubblefield drills them on low blocking outside the hashes. Harley kills a drive doing it. Totally unnecessary.

Gaynor leads a screen play and just has to stay in front of defender. Instead he rips his shoulder pad and kills a huge gain.

I have said it before. We have a dumb football team.

Wow, really? We had a holding penalty which took away a first and goal, we failed to convert the 4th down. No points.
Patchan's personal foul and subsequent neutral zone penalty gave C Mich first and goal at the 1 yard line= 7 points.
That's a likely 14 point swing just from those. There were many others. 13 for 93 yards of them. Please get smarter.

These guys better be running gassers all week. The Pickney call in the end zone was BS. But everything else points to an undisciplined team.

Penalties are due to a lack of discipline which you can usually trace back to the coaching staff.

The problem with discipline in sports is that you have to be able to threaten to put another guy in. Who on this team is scared of the guy behind him?
