Mark Whipple is still head coach there, right? I seem to remember them giving UiF trouble recently.
 
I did not know Hank stopped playing football TWO SEASONS AGO. Jesus. idk if time flies or I'm getting old.

I remember thinking that he wasn't a bad OC because he didn't know what to do, he was bad because he wouldn't change what he did to fit his players. No matter how many times Jacorry floated a 40 yd INT, he'd just keep calling the same plays.
 
So much respect for hank when he was cut from the NFL he didn’t stop providing for his family, he went to work at a car dealership.

IMO He was a good OC, horrible QB coach. Shannon should have hired a QB coach.
Fisch was a good QB coach, ok OC, terrible QB recruiter (evaluation-wise)
Coley was an excellent recruiter, ok QB coach, bad OC

He always came off as a guy with an NFL mindset that was never going to be successful with a clown like Radio as his boss and with an inability to be schematically flexible based on your roster. Probably is much better suited as a head coach at place like UMass or as a position coach in the NFL.
 
Duper made a night to day difference in Hankerson's catching ability.

Remember when Spencer Whipple had to come in at UVA after Jacory got put to sleep? I think he threw 3 lobs and 2 got picked.

Then they burned Morris' redshirt and he almost led a comeback

Edit. Looked it up. Whipple threw 6 passes. 2 picks. Morris threw 2 picks. Jacory threw 1. 5 picks and we lost 24-19

He gave Tennessee and Mississippi State good games as well.
Always liked Mark Whipple.
Good coach and lots of good assistants have worked under him, including Don Brown.

I remember last year Canes Dynasty (I think) coming on here every week telling us UMASS is a lock ATS. I took his advice this year and made a lot of money off UMASS

Sorry but Coley sucked at everything.
 
I coach HS in Ohio - Our QB signed with UMass this year. I told him he’ll definitely have the chance to chuck it down field. Lol. Can’t wait to get some insight on what he thinks of Hank as a coach
