Happy to see Duke used in the passing game well. He can make a career doing that, at worst. He wasn't used in our passing game well and consistently till about midseason last year. Since then, we've probably run the exact same RB angle route so many times that no opponent should be caught by surprise.

Awesome. He deserves all the success he can get. Talk about a guy who literally had his pick of any school he wanted, and risked everything to try and resurrect a once proud hometown program. I shudder to think what he might have accomplished playing for a real team.

Are these real stats? I read he would be used a lot catching the ball out of the backfield, so is he a RB or Slot guy there. Looked like he was out wide for that TD catch. Did he get any carries?

Only 8 carries.
He's a rook so he gotta earn his keep. Catching passes will keep him fresh for next season. Hopefully, Cle will work on that o line. I fully expect Duke to have a very, very productive NFL year. Jamaal Charles took 3 yrs to get going and I think Duke will be in the same category once he adapts his body to the NFL game.

The great Westbrook took some time too. Im good that they are bringing him along nice and slow. They have 3 good rb so they dont need Duke to be what he was for Miami. Duke is an all purpose back
