As you can tell by my handle, I'm an ND fan. I've been reading this board a bit throughout the week as I always like to see what the other side is thinking before a big game. I have to admit, I was fully drinking the kool-aid that ND was as good as their ranking and completely dismissing Miami as a pretender based solely on the close games you've played to date against unranked teams for the most part. I must say, boy was I wrong. What I witnessed last night was an *** kicking as bad or worse than the one Alabama put on ND in that very same stadium in the National Championship game back in January 2013. The Canes are lightning fast, loaded with talent, and undoubtedly the real deal. I hadn't watched hardly any of your previous games, so shame on me for doubting your squad.

I wish you guys the best of luck the rest of the way. While I know this "rivalry" has some hatred on both sides, I think it's wonderful for college football to have both teams relevant again (though not sure ND is relevant after what I witnessed last night). I think it's only a matter of time before ND joins the ACC in football and wow what a conference that would be with Miami back to the elite status, VA Tech back to a perennial top 15-20 team, and ND consistently ranked, to compete with has for the last few years more or less been a Clemson/FSU battle.

You guys deserve every bit of the gloating that you are doing on this board, because the media and certainly the ND fan base doubted your team and said you didn't belong, but it was clear last night one team didn't belong and it wasn't Miami. Good luck and close the deal and bring home a Natty.

Props for taking your L like a man.

You’re welcome for taking the air out of the ball and leaving you with a few teeth and a shred of your dignity intact.
Edit: next time don’t blitz the run when we’re offering quarter

I can’t in good conscience wish your team good luck, but via con dios fellow traveler.

Absolutely, we appreciate that. I was sure 62-0 was in the cards there for a while.

**** you.

**** Notre Dame.

You'll never win anything of significance ever again in the rest of your worthless, rape infested existence.

Thanks

I don't think ND is as bad things looked yesterday. Some of your players - especially Wimbush (looked scared tbh) - didn't look ready to be in that environment. The game was over after the first int

I was in South Bend for Catholics v Convicts. Sat next to a lovely Nun who wacked me numerous time with her umbrella(maybe because of the occasional smart comment from me). I am devout Catholic but dislike ND with passion, still I agree that it is good to have both teams up instead of down and would like ND in the ACC. Your school would do itself a favor by playing home and home with us every year. You got back to national stage only when you started playing us again in 2012. Playing teams you hate every year is a good thing.

We will take care of Bama for you, it will be the rubber NC game between us. Your team was a warm up for us against those big lumbering Olines and large power RBs so popular in SEC. We chase these sorts out of football 30 years ago and are about to once again.

The funny thing is when we were giving our diagnosis I try to watch the 3 hardest games or so a team plays. So I was well aware of ND strengths and weakness. But people don't understand, the biggest strength is the violence and speed we play with, so you can't stat watch this team. I was quite certain ND couldn't deal with our speed and tenacity. ND is not as ferocious as VT and we made them look slow.

Funny story about the nun. As an ND alum who goes to multiple games a year, I've actually never seen a nun on campus. Couldn't agree more about playing teams you hate. That's what makes college football special.

I would love for ND to join the ACC in football and we could play every year. I love this rivalry. Yall got two on us, so it was nice to kick you guys in the nuts.

Would have been if Mark was a good Catholic but he is Bible Thumper and is flawed with acting nice. We are working on him trying to get the Cane back in him. Maybe next time. Good luck with rest of season, make us look better by winning please.

I swear we got the most savage fan base lmao. This man is giving us props and we still bashing him... but yea f*** you and Notre Dame we can care less what yal gotta say. We don't like leprechauns here in Dade

By the way, I know all these message boards have the clowns, so it doesn't really deserve a reply, but I get such a kick out of the anti-Catholic and "diddling kids" stuff on here. I guess these folks don't realize the Miami is arguably the most Catholic city in the US? LOL. Anyways, all good, I won't bother you guys any more. Good luck the rest of the way.
