Look, you're so limited and one-dimensional in your thinking that I probably can't help you anyhow. But I can try. I love charity cases. This isn't about your opinion as to whether people will watch the Fightin' Eye-rish on the teevee. It's about people in Comcast, A CABLE COMPANY, thinking it is smart to jettison NBC, which means that they want NBC to be separate and to be more of a streaming play in the open market.

So, yeah, I realize you can't see past your own nose, but regardless of whether NBC has a contract with Notre Dame, there is now going to be a strong push within the walls of NBC to produce more streaming content. And if that is NOT what Notre Dame wants, then they need to make up their minds BEFORE the game of Musical Chairs ends and they are left without a seat.

But...go ahead and keep yapping about the massive 3.5 remaining years on Notre Dame's TV contract. Nobody said the contract would "fall apart", that's just a straw man that you invented to beat the stuffing out of, since you get your **** kicked by me (argumentatively) every time.

Notre Dame has every right to be concerned with their ONE television partner due to this spinoff.

My god, THEY ARE UNDER CONTRACT THROUGH 2029. Period. Absolutely nothing changes today or short term for them. The “risk” is after the contract ends. Obviously. However by ALL INDICATIONS, ND will have to decide BEFORE the end of their contract regardless on whether they will join the B1G or not. So it absolutely has basically zero impact. If Nd joins the B1G BEFOFE THIS CONTRACT ENDS it will entirely be about Legislation and/or the ACC dying. That is it. AFTER the contract ends in 2029 - the entire purpose was to align towards the B1G contract ending anyways. So sure this spinoff COULD affect NDs NBC partnership LONG TERM strictly from INDEPENDENCE perspective….but my original ******* comment was it changes nothing for current realignment in the next year or two. their NBc contract does nothing except make it an even easier pivot into the B1G - which I stated lmao.

They are selling because they are a ******* broadband company that DISTRIBUTES media. They have realized OWNING the media you’re selling hasnt actually increased their customer base or increased revenues like they hoped it would, or have the market value you more. And then you have to also deal with entire distractions like theme parks to operate, And is a big cash drag when you have other heavy cash needs for fiber installation which drive higher profits and media ownership is more volatile. And after the Warner sale there is clear consolidation occurring. Separately they are stronger companies. NBC as its own company will either buy or get bought in all this consolidation. Either buy companies with strong franchises like Sony, or sell to someone like Apple, Amazon, or Netflix. Selling is far more likely. NONE OF THAT EFFECT ND through 2029! and it’s obvious if Apple or Netflix did buy NBC, one of the strongest reasons is to acquire its Sports agreements lol… ND in the B1G would make it stronger obviously. Which is why this has an impact AFTER 2029…

He is absolutely an adidas proponent because he has argued FOR YEARS that the lazy adidas guaranteed money was superior to Nike’s royalty offer. We’ve got dozens of his posts that say that.

Oh, but then he acknowledges that the 12-year contract was “too long”. Meanwhile, he can’t name a single apparel contract that ran longer than 12 years. So…”yay” for him admitting the obvious?

That hill was overrun hours ago, and now his own soldiers are busy fragging him.

I could have sworn he was arguing why adidas is better for miami a few weeks ago with @Rellyrell but my memory isn’t way at it was and I was like ok my bad. And he said I’m lying??? 😂

I have held the entire time I wanted whichever gave us more money, and that any deal that was close or equal tie should go to Nike, Specifically because I think Nike is far better brand lmao… just proving my point that Death, Taxes, and @TheOriginalCane completely lying about my arguments/opinions. Dude is dumb as a box of rocks if after 5 yrs of this discussion he still can’t comprehend this.

If I have preferences Nike over Adodas the entire time, how am I an adidas over Nike proponent lol. I’m a proponent of ADIDAS at substantially more money vs Nike at much less…but that’s not the same statement now is it

You are a complete moron, and I have probably like a dozen times directly addressed your lies regarding the contract length with exact quotes and you just continue spewing your garbage lies and then not responding to the proof for a little before bringing the same lies up over and over lmao.

Same with the literal retarded claim that people can’t possible compare a contract with heavy royalty vs up front money+equipment/etc… just general mind numbing dumb.

I guarantee I could go back to my very first arguments I ever made on Nike vs Adidas and stand by them and they’d still hold up lmao. But I’m sure if we did that you wouldn’t respond except To try to take one sentence here and there out of context and twist it or lie like you normally do

Why would I lie about this of all things??? That’s a weird accusation. It’s more plausible that I mistook you for someone else though now since your calling me a liar, I actually want to look for it before I’m too high to deal with it. You definitely argue the opposite of whatever the prevailing views are plenty so I would expect to see defense of Adidas. It’s not exactly an outlandish thought.
