This guy like Genetics?

He is better than genetics. Then again, you and I are better than genetics.
Seriously, his track record is ok, and he doesn't feel the need to post something every day. He was right about SC and UCLA, and how many schools would end up in the B12. He will admit when he's wrong but usually claims his source disclosed something new. And he doesn't give timelines, details etc. of when the supposed moves are going to be announced, so take every rumor for what its worth.

I'm ready to just cut a deal with the B12. By the ACC being lazy and basically, anti-Miami, they have unintentionally begun (although, it really started a while ago) the inevitable death spiral.

If the B10/SEC won't have us, then let's bounce to the B12, drag VT and a couple others with us and be the proud beneficiaries of non-ACC reffed games. I really think that if we can get the finances close to "acceptable" whether that comes from financial commitments from donors, venture capital or the school realizing that it's own financial health is tied to the success of the FB program, let's just join the B12, get it over with and start regularly competing in the playofffs.

I wish we could create a new conference with the best teams from the BIG 12 + ACC + Notre Dame (even though I hate them)

Get a TV deal with NBC/Amazon.
The BIG 10 and the SEC have too much power.

Just Big12+ACC. Maybe the odd G5 or two. And wouldn’t be shocked if USC was interested as they seem to dislike the direction of the B1G. Notre Dame can go to ****. After this ***** job no one from any major conference will schedule them so they can go play the service academies twice each.

I agree - F Notre Dame. The reason I add them is that that's NBC's baby, and in this make-believe conference, NBC would be the TV network big enough to compete with ESPN and FOX.

There are 17 ACC teams and 16 Big 12 teams. Add USF, one other G5 and give ND a one time opportunity to join 100%. That makes a 36 team conference that can ignore the Big 10 and SEC.

I don’t think the SEC needs Clemson. How many more eyeballs are they getting with ANOTHER South Carolina team?

UNC makes perfect sense to me they should grab UNC and UVA if any two.
It isn't eyeballs, it's Jenga.

Between SEC vs B1G, what move by one "hurts" the other more?

If I'm B1G, I'm taking FSU + Miami to encircle SEC, then UVA + VT and/or UNC + NC St.

If I'm SEC, I'm taking FSU + Miami to shore up my lower flank, then UVA + VT and/or UNC + NC St....then I'm firing a **** you and taking Oregon St + Wash St and/or Zona + Zona St.

I have always felt this makes the most sense for both conferences if they are expanding beyond 2 more teams:

SEC:
- FSU
- VT
- NC State
- Clemson

B1G:
- Miami
- UNC
- UVA
- Duke
