MEGA Conference Realignment and lawsuits Megathread: Stories, Tales, Lies, and Exaggerations

Hey USC could form their own conference out west and call it the pacific coast conference or something like that. They could take ucla, oregon, and Washington with them. Utah hates the big12 so they'd probably come and you could even add cal and stanford once the acc implodes and maybe wash st and oregon st down the road. Surely that conference would thrive... could even have a rose bowl tie in...

USC should have never abandoned the PAC-12, geographically it’s insane their in the Big 10-Especially with the time difference-

They are in a market with the Dodgers, Lakers, Clippers ,Rams and Chargers-

USC is last on that totem pole-Win they were dominating they were a top draw-

I know you're just kidding, but if the ACC took that deal, I might just stop watching all sports until the good Lord takes me home. The stupidity is astounding.

And, on a related note, we've been whoring ourselves to ND for a long time and it's been a net negative proposition as far as I'm concerned. I say we cut the Domers loose. With the big 2 conferences going to almost no OOC games and with the ACC moving to fewer OOC games, the Domers would be forced to join someone and I don't think the B12 would be satisfying for them top to bottom.

If that means they join the B10, I could give two craps. We don't gain that much with the current deal and it makes us look like a little *****.

Cut the Irish loose!!
 
BTW, I would be cool if USC and UCLA cut loose from the B10 and joined the ACC. In that case, with 4 Western teams and one in TX, we would just need to rename the conference. It's more likely that they stay put and we leave the ACC, but if we're staying put, then yeah, let's get some marquee teams in there.

In an alternate universe, USC, UCLA and ND join the ACC and we finally are little more respected as a conference. Never happen in this universe.

I love this and I actually like the name "Atlantic Pacific Conference". Better than "The Big 10" for a conference with more than 10. Never happen, but I would love this and it would be a marquee conference.

You are aware that the B10 teams get $40M per year more than the PAC12 teams got right?

Yes they should have it’s literally a 70m a year move by 2029 just on tv rights deals alone vs what pac 12 was about to sign
