MEGA Conference Realignment and lawsuits Megathread: Stories, Tales, Lies, and Exaggerations

The corruption is so deep in that athletic department. How the **** does the AD Manuel have a job? He let's their official merchandise retailer M Den owe them $8.8 million in royalties and they file bankruptcy. This little retailer owes you $8.8 mill. The hockey program controversies, allegations against the coach, claims of retaliation against student athletes, mistreatment of women associated in the program and violations of Covis 19 safety protocols. Football is about to be hammered this month. Weiss lawsuit and NCAA investigation will be brutal. How does anyone on these staff's, anyone running the the athletic department or their boss Dr. Santa J. Ono still have a job? She is running from her firing and UF will be glad to have her. Disgraceful!

Be careful mi amigo.

Got a few CIS'ers who seem to have a blind spot when it comes to the Maize & Blew

Really LOVING this nuclear 3D chess DAN RAD is running so no one gets to the SCENT that ND AND MIAMI are headed to the B-G together

Nothing says MIAMI TO B1G than FSU CLEMSON and NOTRE DAME working together on things WITHOUT Miami

From yesterday:

"ESPN has indicated a willingness to increase its payment to the SEC if the conference adds a ninth game to its league football schedule, sources briefed on the matter told The Athletic. There is no formal offer yet ... but the sources said the additional money would likely be in the range of $50-80 million annually on top of the current deal."

So now ESPN will do the something similar for Jim Phillips -- and the ACC as we know it will live happily ever after.

Right?

Right?
Cut the offer rate in half for the ACC and watch Phillips tout his success.

Doubt they get as good of a deal. And only Miami, FSU, Clemson, UNC and ND will benefit substantially. I think it makes a breakup of ACC more likely at some point down the line.

Right?
So $3-5M extra per school and take away an out of conference game which likely means less games like UF vs Miami - blah

I mean this objectively makes the most sense as things stand. Only thing is ACC probably could definitely end up deserving 3, whereas B12 only 1.
This I could go with. Acknowledge that the ACC has more teams that are viable than the b12 but not quite many as sec/big. Of course Jim Phillips will just let Brett Yormarck run circles around him though.
