Because with ND @ 10 and Mia @ 11 it would force them to have to honor the H2H like they have with every single other H2H in the rankings. Ignoring it would be the only instance in the ranking where the teams weren’t flipped. Bama losing puts that in jeopardy because now they can just justify dropping Bama to 10 n using them as a buffer to ND & thus leaving us out. A blowout At least leaves the outside chance they get left out entirely.I just don't get how UGA losing would've helped. The committee isn't removing them with two losses, and Bama would have a spot solidified.
Yup just plain stupidity. I hate this conference to no endOn top of all of this, the ACC is playing a championship game in 39 degree weather. Congratulations.
Just pure idiocy all around.
N for the record I don’t think our chances were great or good but it’s not entirely dead.I just don't get how UGA losing would've helped. The committee isn't removing them with two losses, and Bama would have a spot solidified.
Raymond James Stadium.Where should they play? Just wondering?
In theory, the CFP wouldn't let the ACC get no teams in, because a duke win wouldn't get them a spot regardless.I can’t keep track anymore. How does Duke win help us in theory again?
It creates hope...and dammit that's all we needI can’t keep track anymore. How does Duke win help us in theory again?
