Media is so decentralized and autonomous that it's hard for me to believe ESPN is behind recent positions taken by their on-screen talent.

there is 0% chance to bama being left out

there is at least a realistic chance that bama is a buffer between us and ND if they lose

best result is a close bama win, ensures bama jumps up and UGA doesn't drop too far for losing close

Totally agree with you here. That’s how the committee should do it in the event Bama loses a close loss or gets blown out.

1) BYU gets blown out for a second time forces the committee to put Miami at 11

2) Analysis of Miami vs ND: neither team played today so H2H moves Miami to 10 and ND to 11

3) Analysis of number 9 Bama vs 10 Miami. Did Bama get blown out that merits them being bumped down to 10 and Miami to 9? I doubt it since Bama beat UGA but who cares we’re in.
