Just turned to the other game and one of the announcers actually used ND’s win over Syracuse to show that ND is winning by wider margins. Wow.

I don’t think they can do that. They are praying it doesn’t happen. They have no choice.

oh but they do have a choice. It would cause massive downstream effects, but they don’t care. I am still trying to be optimistic though, maybe espn gets to them and says- Miami is on our network. And whatever money you make by putting in Notre Dame will be dwarfed by the loss of money over then next 10 years as schools cancel premier OOC games because they don’t matter.

Going to be very disappointing when we get all the breaks we need and are 10-11 with ND, and committee says, “Of course we valued head to head, but we just think Notre Dame is the stronger team.” Makes me sad just typing that.

Cause nothing else seems to matter except the “ eye test” as seen by 8 of the 12 people on the committee that never played a game according to that figurehead that pops on the screen reading what he’s told by the rest of the idiots in the room.

Their run game is toast. After the QB got injured, they're running game is predictable. I don't think BYU scores again until garbage time. They can't run the ball without the threat of the QB run. BYU has 37 yards rushing and most of ththat was on their 1st drive.

So BYU look like *** and their QB is injured?

Duke doesn’t matter but if you subscribe to the theory that the committee really wants an ACC team in (I do not) then root for Duke.

I know they have silly rules about Conference winners and stuff, but surely they can see we'd run all of these teams out of the god**** building.

JMU? Tulane? Duke? Texas Tech? Virginia? BYU?

We'd beat them all by 4 scores. This is maddening.

committee does not care one bit about the ACC. it's the SEC/B10/ND invitational. the rest of us just get the crumbs

Eye test and playing better now is BS. We JUST beat pit in dominant fashion by more than ND just two weeks earlier. In 30 degree weather at their place I might add.

We had a lot of injurious that are now healing up. Freshman qb first start (redshirt freshman at that)? We had a new qb with no spring practice getting his first start off a surgically repaired throwing arm.

I don’t know where this end of year eye test advantage comes from. Nobody is playing better than us over the last 4 weeks.

You can see how 1 dimensional they are without the QB run. Tt is just ignoring the QB and swarming the RB.

It wouldn't surprise me if TT shuts out BYU in the 2nd half.
