Conference Championship Saturday

We... might be better off it Virginia wins.

If Duke wins, the ******* committee could drop Virginia out entirely and put Boise in at #25 after winning their conference.

Notre Dame has a win over Boise.

Are you considering the Carolinas cold weather states?

Also where would you host it? Atlanta is off the table. So what, Miami? Tobacco Road Mafia would never stand for that.
It was played at Raymond James (Tampa) before.

And yes, Charlotte is cold in December.

"How confident are you that you can win this game?"

Was that really her question to Cignetti? Fugg. What is he supposed to say, "Yeah, we feel like we're going to lose tonight but try our best."

I don't think it's between us and Notre Dame anymore.

So, if it’s us and ND, that would mean we play each other in round 1, correct?

No. We'd both be ranked like 9 or 10 or 11.

More to the point, they would want one of us to play at Ole Miss in the first round. The media seems to need a big market team to get that game some media push.

Manny winning this game along with Bama getting left out would be the best thing to happen for the future of College football.

College Football has to get away from awarding autobids from these CGs when it's possible to have #2 ACC (UVA) vs #6 ACC (Duke) and #1 SEC (UGA) vs. #5 SEC (Bama). This is absurd. These aren't championship games they're are just a random extra game based on how teams performed against unbalanced conference schedules and ridiculous tiebreakers.

The more absurd it gets the better the chance a better system replaces it.
I'm fine with giving conference title games auto bids but they need to go to 10 or 12 team divisions and have everyone play each other. I agree it's insane with how unbalanced the schedules are
