This doesn’t make sense because they aren’t moving teams around in a vacuum. As soon as you move BYU, you have to compare H2H with notre dame. It’s illogical to move one team and then claim 5 minutes later that H2H doesn’t matter because you just moved another team

just as other teams in conference championship games don't get into the playoffs just because they lose
