Conference Championship Saturday

The slide they have been on the last 6 games and the reversal of competitiveness against Georgia should be their end.

Committee: "Notre Dame's playing great right now

Committee: "Miami's playing really, really good right now"

Committee: "Alabama ... um ... well they did beat Georgia at Athens back in October"

If Duke wins, I refuse to believe the committee will leave the ACC without a single team. That would basically disintegrate the conference.

They'll want to keep the sick man alive for a while longer.

I have to admit, I don't see how Bama winning helps us. Are they going to drop a 10-2 UGA out if they won't toss a 3-loss Bama? Not saying you're wrong, just don't understand why.
I’d want them to consider GT vs UGA last Saturday night in the same stadium. Dogfight vs ACC as opposed to blowout.

Also the committee is under fire for ND-Miami.. They could avoid any criticism whatsoever by dropping 10-3 Bama (which no one outside of Tuscaloosa would disagree with). There's their saving grace. They're catching flack if ND makes it over Miami and Bama is in with this performance.

This is not good. At this point we just need Georgia to win to the likes of 42-0.
Interesting question is if the CFP committee ranks from the bottom up or from the top down. If they flip Bama and ND before flipping Miami and BYU, we're never next to ND and likely stay at 11. Unless I'm mistaken, Bama was the #1 seed in SEC, and the argument would be playing in the championship game hurt them.

There's also a chance Bama holds and they do the right thing by Miami. It can do lots of ways.
