It’s different when it’s our WR’s. It’s been like that for years. Ladson was held by the shoulder pads all the way down the sidelines yesterday in the first half on a deep pass, and the ref refused to throw a flag.Teams are allowed to be extremely physical with our receivers. Lots of holding and PI. Key gets grabbed a lot when he runs by guys.
We have to overcome it.
Yeah we need to not be talking about flags as of now cause if we do that Clemson game is put a few of us in the hospital. If that game is even remotely competitive we will be getting absolutely jobbed. You think the Carolina mob is gonna let Clemson lose to us with a playoff bid on the line and conference negotiations on deck? NopeIt’s different when it’s our WR’s. It’s been like that for years. Couch held a VT receiver for 1 second the same way later on in the game, and they called P.I..
The Mallory no call was even worse. He was being murked before the ball ever got there, and still caught it. Ref was looking right at it, and once again ate his flag.
Remember, these ***kers refused to throw a flag years ago in the bowl game against Wisconsin when the Badgers DB was tugging on Lawrence Cager’s jersey from the back as Cager had gotten past him and was gonna score a TD on the pass. He never got to the ball because of it. Ref in the end zone was staring right at it, and refused to throw a flag. The pic of it was all over the web.
Also remember Jeff Thomas getting mugged early several times against LSU a few years ago, and again didn’t get one single P.I. call.
Our DL is held multiple times a game, and there is hardly ever a call. Yet we get penalized 17 times yesterday, and sometimes for the biggest bullshyt.
If I was the HC, I would have pulled my team from the field a long time ago, and told the refs that every time they start calling bullshyt, and swallowing their whistles when the other team commits penalties, the same thing will happen, until they start respecting the game and themselves.
I get the anger but we’d forfeit games if we leave the field and don’t return. We should feed it to Herbie to take up. LolIt’s different when it’s our WR’s. It’s been like that for years. At this point, forfeiting might be the best option. Only way to send a message that we’re no longer gonna tolerate the blatant bias and corruption.I get the anger but we’d forfeit games if we leave the field and don’t return. We should feed it to Herbie to take up. Lol
The Ivey PI was pathetic. It’s different when it’s our WR’s. It’s been like that for years. Ladson was held by the shoulder pads all the way down the sidelines yesterday in the first half on a deep pass, and the ref refused to throw a flag.

We’d likely also forfeit conference TV dollars for non-performance and pay fines, possibly of a large magnitude. We could try to argue that they are preventing our performance but that’ll likely fail in a court and we’d be in breach - which would bring more financial trouble as mentioned. They’ll point to all kinds of misses by the refs on all sides and they’ll find enough of them.At this point, forfeiting might be the best option. Only way to send a message that we’re no longer gonna tolerate the blatant bias and corruption.
These kids work too hard to be constantly getting jobbed by the corrupt refs and establishment. He who stands for nothing will tolerate everything. At some point, someone is gonna have to say or do something. Enough is enough.
