Reflecting back on the past couple of weeks and feeling like the bye we had before the North Carolina game interrupted the chemistry on both sides of the ball. I’m also worried about it being an issue again after Central Michigan. Thoughts?

It gives us an extra week to get Nesta and Lingard healed up before continuing ACC play. Also, Bubba will hopefully be able to contribute after the bye.

Huh??? Interrupted the chemistry on offense? The chemistry before the bye was that good 10 sack allowed type chemistry

So our QB/offensive line/play calling, everything on the offensive side of the ball looked much better after the bye (in comparison to game 1) with more practice time and you're concerned?

The bye before UNC was used as an excuse by Manny and company. And it is a bit awkward to have a week off after your first game. But if going down 17-3 after a bye week doesn't show a lack of preparation and focus then what does? Hopefully they attack that bye week before CMU and ratchet things up in practice. Got to stop practicing, talking, behaving, playing like losers and put together 4 quarters of football without beating ourselves.

Thank ESPN for the week 1 bye
