Concern about App State

It does make a difference, but not so much that it should be a game changer. I lived in the area, 25 minutes away in Banner Elk after growing up in Palm Beach county. You do notice a difference at first, not walking around so much, but hiking, etc. These guys are all young, good lungs, and it won't affect a thing IMO. A day to acclimatize wouldn't matter much, but the nearest airport is a couple of hours away so I can't imagine them not rolling into town on Friday.

id be lying if I said I wasn't jealous of u living in banner elk!

Any time you have a team with a competent spread attack, it's always a little tricky. Their qb is pretty good, their OC is a Miami native who coached at fiu, and they've fielded good offenses the last couple years. We're not going to struggle mightily but it won't be a 45-3 game either. I'm thinking a 38-17 kind of game.

Doesn't really make a difference honestly.

Grew up in Boone. Went to college down in Eastern NC. Anytime I went back up, there was no change in ability to exercise, except for hills. But that's because it's hills, and not the altitude. And you're right, they'll have a day to acclimatize, which is all you need, so it's a moot point.

So, what I got out of this thread is that we might have trouble if the field has a lot of hills on it.

My concern is that we beat them so soundly that the SEC blowhards get in their feelings and revert to their base instinct to trash us all over their airwaves.

That concerns you? I thought was what Miami was all about.
