ND’s president listed above is on the CFP’s Board of Managers which has ten other university presidents; one from each conference, to equal 11 members. Clemson’s president is the representative for the ACC.

Pete Bevacqua is on the CFP management committee with the commissioner of the ten conferences; in other words, Jim Phillips is on this committee.

The committee chair mentioned something about the Management Committee clarifying a few points before the season... One of those points was teams that weren't playing in conference championships could move in the final ranking....
