How would you rank him against these guys when they were rising seniors in HS?

Jeremiah Smith
Jerry Jeudy
Amari Cooper

Is he in that tier?

Think DeVonta Smith? Sneaky athletic wr with a small frame that just makes plays. Believe the people from DeVonta’s area said he was the best they had seen in a decade but the tape showed a very good but nothing out of this world, yet the kid just always stayed one step ahead of the comp ever here he went.

Smith has a pb 100m time of 10.67 to go along with all his other intagibles.
 
To the above posters wondering why these questions are being asked, for those of us that do not follow recruiting too closely (other than knowing names), it's cool to see how folks that watch or closely follow HS recruiting rank current recruits to players of the past. So, yeah, for those folks that follow local So Fla football, I too am curious where he ranks in comparison to Amari Cooper, Jerry Jeudy, Jeremiath Smith, etc.

I’m curious too, Alex…. Curious to see how he rates/ranks with Baby Jesus.. Freshman Player of the year. If he plays half as good it’s a win/win,.🙌🏽

I mean at this point I can see Devonta smith… slight frame who runs excellent routes and gets open and when he’s catching the rock in stride he’s probably finding the end zone.

Special player who instantly makes your WR better… huge win and will be fun seeing him and Toney on the field at the same time for at least one year.

I see Lennear as worse than Jeremiah Smith. Basically after Megatron, everyone is worse than him. I see Lennear as on par with Jeudy in HS. Maybe a touch more explosive but a little smaller and not as technical a route runner. And I see Lennear as better than HS Amari Cooper.
