He said jackson is the starting cb in the base defense but in nickel young goes outside and bandy is the nickel.

Every single CB on this team will start at different points during the season.

Coach Diaz likes rotational depth with his CB's, last year Elder, Colbert, Redwine & Young all started games for us.

Even Jackson was in during App st early in the game. That's why it's funny to see everyone overreact to a Depth Chart for Bethune.

Different matchups can change the personnel, that's how Football works, just because someone is named the starter people act like the other guys won't play a single down for the entire season lol.
 
So Bandy arrived here this summer and is already the starting nickel...wow.
 
Who would have known that Young was going to have the type of spring and fall that he did? Mike Jackson clearly stepped his game up big time as well. Then, with the additions of Delaney and Dean, our CB's went from being a question mark, to becoming a very solid unit.

There are literally no holes on our Defense! Them boyz gonna eat!

Its why i havent even looked at the depth chart **** is pointless.....everyone plays if u earn it and if ypur a good player u will getburn
 
Also helps that Bandy and Harley have been around the team since January. For a couple of non-EEs they had the benefit of familiarity with their teammates and how things work here. Once guys like Thomas, D. Johnson, Perry, Gaynor, Herbert, Ford catch up the competition will only improve. God bless.

with the apparent talent we have at CB now and the lack of depth at safety, I would not be surprised to see some packages that have corners at safety. Keep the best on the field.
 
We have Knowles, Carter, and D. Smith as safety depth...from the chatter and coaches they have all had great fall camps. No need to play our corners there when we are really only 5 deep at corner this year
 
i think it was in one of he podcasts that Pete asked someone that the DB all receivers and coaches hated to go against was Bandy and the receivers they all hated to cover were Harley and Jeudy. We should ask questions like this every year and let all measurables be damned. Think about the receivers and DB 's in the last 2 years coming out of the tri-county. To say that about Bandy Harley and Jeudy is a big f...ng deal and 2 of those almost never got offered here and are now starting!!!
