Greetings all,

I've been following this forum all year and now I've finally decided to join. I've been a fan since the early 80s and I bleed green and orange. This is my very first post, so I've decided to share a poignant remark regarding Miami, made by Jesse Palmer this morning:
"THIS team doesn't know HOW to lose."

He's right. Our boys have become technicians in the science of winning football games! That's the mark of all great champions...knowing HOW to win.

I look forward to interacting with you guys moving forward!

I watched it this morning. It must have aired last night, but Jesse was the one who said it.

Palmer was talking trash after we fired Golden saying that we would never win again because we don't have a stadium on campus and our current stadium is sterile. F**k him.

Good quote for your first post, but opening with any words from any gator is risky business. Since you are not a fan from the 70's we might forgive you BUT that's one strike.

We are the team no one wants to face in the playoffs.

We may not be the "best" team.

But we can beat any team when we play our "best". And even when we don't play our "best" we find ways to win.

That is more important.

Todd ***ledge: "This stat here doesn't equate to an undefeated team". He must've said this 11 times. Not even exaggerating. This dude was off the charts with hate yesterday.

Lol
I'm gonna assume that you're being facetious. There's no way full grown men are this sensitive and petty.

I was trying to respond to Gator Haters post. Bear with me as I get the hang of posting on this thing.

You're doing fine.

We have some who have been here seemingly forever, and they're much akin to a handful of sand in the crack of urass.

During our 20 year run, we often played down to our opponents, but always found a way to come back and win the game. This team has the same never quit attitude, and you have to give lots of credit to the coaches and players.

It was not hate by any stretch. As he said, our 3rd down conversion rate outside of ND and VA Tech is a glaring problem. We’ve overcome it, which is great. But it is objectively a weakness that hopefully we can correct for the remainder of the season, especially against Clemson and thereafter. Bottom line, championship teams convert on third downs to extend drives, eat the clock, and wear out the defense.

Thought I heard Galloway make that comment on the final show last night

That Galloway is one of the BEST ANTI-MIAMI HURRICANE pundits out there in America- So ' F ' him too! Heck, he was one of several college football pundits, who put Miami on ' upset alert ' for FOUR CONSECUTIVE weeks earlier this season- Duke, FSU, GA. Tech and Syracuse.

U can also add this, for example. Like the late, great controversial Ali. Miami REFUSES TO LOSE!!!!!!!!!

For instance, back in the day their were several PRO Ali sportswriters whom penned the line... Ali refuses to lose!

Moe,

I believe you will come to know that no matter what you post their is a segment of posters that will attack your words...apparently, it makes them feel better about themselves. By the way, enjoyed your first post.

Blackledge is still butthurt by the fact that he was drafted by KC Chiefs before Marino was... and we all know how THAT turned out...
