Commentary on the state of Miami and the other Florida schools

I get it, it’s funny because we’re conditioned but realistically they are on a better trajectory than FSU. They have a national champion head coach and are about to join the Big 12. They’re definitely going to take recruiting to the next level when they join big 12. They finished in 50’s last year. I expect that to jump to high 20’s low 30’s when they join big 12. That’s big time football

Yeah, not this bull**** again.

Any legitimizing of UCF and/or USF and/or FAU, etc and putting them on the same level as UM, Turds and Holes DOES NOT HELP THE CANES AT ALL.

It was the Big 3 back when the schools were all winning National Championships.

It still was the Big 3 when UM, FSU and UF were walking around with their thumbs up their collective asses.

And it'll still be the Big 3 when these commuter and directional schools rattle off a few 10-win seasons three times in a row and then finish nowhere near the Top 25 two seasons after that and return to obscurity.
If we get our own house in order, this narrative becomes irrelevant, fortunately. It's the fact that we've been so mediocre that allows a UCF to make noise. Time to shut that **** down with some old fashioned on-field performance.

Just as an aside, UCF is by enrollment the largest university in the U.S. It is situated in a rapid-growth metropolitan area. If UCF decides to make football a priority, they will certainly challenge for a place at the table with the big boys. And they seem to be demonstrating that commitment...

I think there will be a significant re-assessment of the Big 12 when the next TV contract is negotiated.

Until that time, though, they technically have a seat at the P5 table.

Any program that continues to lay claim to a national championship that doesn’t exist can not be taken seriously. **** UCF!

While I basically agree with you, we also cannot deny that UCF is only citing the current rules in existence (of recognizing a championship if ANY major "elector" gives them the #1 spot).

But I would point out that BY UCF STANDARDS, the University of Miami has won NINE national championships in football.

Google it.

And this is what matters in recruiting. Until this changes, UCF walking into a living room as a P5 and not a G5 is a much bigger threat than currently.

UCF has always had The potential to be a problem.

The big three have only themselves to blame for the rise. We’ve made it much easier by putting a ****** product on the field for the last several years.

Downplaying or mocking the current state of affairs is silly at this point. We need to just take care of our own business and not be childishly worryingly about what anyone calls them.

UCF is a joke. They aint rising to be a big 4. Not in my life time atleast. Their fake National championship dont count. Their players transfer to FSU who is a joke right now says it all. Then they post all their decades wins over Tulsa and Kent St. They are a much lower version of Oregon aka O titles.

The buzz around UCF is real, 10 years ago they were pulling classes with nothing but 2 star and low 3 star players. Now they regularly pull 4* players and pick up quality transfer portal players. If we played UCF the past 6 years we would have been lucky to split the series, that being said nothing in the state of Florida will top the U clicking on all cylinders.

Yeah, look up the 1941 National Championship that Alabama claims. UCF isn't the only one guilty of it.

You do good work. Enjoy your film breakdown.

My comment on this specifically is if youre familiar with Josh Pate on 247, this is eerily similar to his content and what he’s been saying.

Could be a coincidence, and maybe it’s becoming a common take with Miami and UF looking competent again, BUT if I closed my eyes, I’d think I’m listening to Pate’s segment again.

Something to be wary of, looking forward to seeing more of your content regardless

Good broadcast, but nothing I didn't already know. Gonna be a battle between The U and Jortsville for state recruits. We must dominate SOFL and give them **** Orlando down to Okeechobee.

Nothing personal, man --- just don't like UCF and these other mid-majors getting elevated to the top tier because they win games playing in a push and giggle conference.

Good luck with your company and your social media sites.
UCF is a better program than FSU & better team, without question.

And aside from the Powerhouse rosters like Bama, UGA etc, the majority of G5 teams can play & beat most P5 teams.

The gap & disparity in talent has closed significantly over the last 5 years.
