Coming into the season...

Coming into the season, my goals/expectations for this team were:

* 10-2 regular season
* Win the Coastal division
* Go 2-1 against the big 3 (FSU, VT & ND)
* Win their bowl game.




Last night's collapse aside, the team is on track to surpass these goals:

* Likely would have been 11-1 if we had the chance to play Ark. State
* Won the Coastal
* Went 3-0 against the Big 3.
* TBD

Fans like to move the finish line for their teams.

But you’re right. By every measure, this team exceeded expectations. No shame in losing to a Pitt team on the road, playing in what amounted to be their bowl game.

Absolutely wish we had played better. But 10-2 Coastal Champs playing in the Orange Bowl is a nice season.

Now we have to prove that th B1G is overrated, and give Wisconsin the business!
 
Won coastal, Won 10 games, Beat Fsu, Beat ND, able to hide a 1AA QB for 10 weeks. Build Richt a statue.

Of coarse . An Amazing season considering we are in year 2 of the rebuild. Anyone thinking we were going to beat Clemson after Herdon and Richards went down ( we would of lost a close game with them IMO) are living in la la land. UM is very good but not on the level of bama , Clemson or Oklahoma. We will be next year.
 
You don't need to put puppies, unicorns and rainbows on everything after completely getting embarrassed two weeks in a row. Let us just kick the wall for a bit. We get they succeeded beyond most people's expectations. Yes, we get it. That doesn't make the ending taste any better. And we don't need someone trying to make it taste better.
 
I didn't mind losing last night but 38-3 was embarrassing and a momentum killer. I'm glad we have a month before our bowl game.

This was exactly me. I would've liked a better showing last night but I am very happy with the season
 
Certainly exceeded mine. Cardiac Canes were fun to watch this year, spent some time in the top 5 and playoff conversation. Won their division and beat FSU, VT ND. Ran out of gas at Pitt. Got rolled by the defeding national champs who are a deeper team. Months rest and Rosey gets back on the same page with his receivers so he doesn’t look like Wild Thing before getting his glasses. Croot, croot, croot and beat Wisky in the Orange Bowl, get some mojo back.
 
I had 10-2 winning Coastal..............beating Va tech and Notre Dame!! FSU was gravy this year! Richt receiving coach of year was well deserved.

Next 2 goals...........win Orange bowl and secure top 5 class.
