Colts are trying to kill Frank

NFL Hall of Famer.

And I’ll fight anybody that disagrees with that.

1st ballot?

**** yes first ballot.

And I’ll fūck up the first person who says he isn’t.

Laughable. Everyone else is too scared to chime in. Not surprising. SAMs live in fear.

I love Frank Gore but there is nothing in his NFL resume that aligns with first ballot Hall of Fame. Those guys are the ones who have been first team All Pro countless times. Gore has never been first team All Pro and only one second team All Pro.

If he makes it he'll have a long wait.

The only opportunity for first ballot Hall of Fame at this point is if he somehow manages a George Blanda type career at running back, keeping up this level of play for another 5 years or more to the point he becomes a beloved fan favorite nationwide.

Only a Hall of Fame Porster Troll Cūnt like you would refute this on a canes message board. A Miami Hurricane who will only have Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, and Emmit Smith ahead of him all time NFL rushing yards. And you’re saying it will take multiple ballots? Accomplishing this after two severe reconstructive knee surgeries.

You’re one of the all time worst porsters on this site.

You claim to be a USC grad and most of your porsts are long-winded self-deluded meaningless screeds which you’ve fooled yourself to think are tour-de-forces of logic and reason but in reality are the mad scribblings of a catfishing loser trying to impress strangers online to enhance his otherwise meaningless existence.

Step back from the computer and set yourself on fire.

#5 all time leading rusher in NFL, potentially #4 = first ballot

I love Frank but if TO didn't get in on his first ballot, neither is Frank.

Probably a 2-3 year wait. No doubt he is a HOF though.

Always wondered what kind of a career he would have had of he hadn't had the two knee injuries in college. He also had one his junior year of high school if I recall correctly, although not as serious.

TO wasn't inducted first ballot because of lack of ability or production.

HOF is a lot of political bull that goes on behind closed doors, and TO didn't have many allies during selection.

That being said, Gore should go in. Maybe not first ballot, but definately 2nd or 3rd.

I still think had he not got hurt, he would've been the best we ever had.

He's probably my favorite all-time 'Cane. Second only to the Mad Stork

The media has an agenda against TO based on his ability to cause teams to implode. Gore has a shining reputation in the NFL. Not the same thing. And based on your logic, there will never be a first ballot HOF again.

Moss.

Will be fourth all time leading rusher when he’s done.

With that, added to his toughness, reliability, and intangibles, that makes him a first ballot Hall of Famer in my book.

What the fūck else do people want? He’s the epitome of a football player. Most football players are sitting in a rocking chair at this stage in their careers, here’s a Miami guy keeping his team in the game, getting pounded in ten feet of snow in the freezing weather. Colts aren’t in that game without Gore. Period.

He had that team on his back for four quarters. At his age.

Put him the fūck in first ballot for today alone.

Too many “fair minded” gentlemanly canes fans leaning way too much the other way.

The argument can easily be made for first ballot.

TO didn't get in 1st ballot because he was a giant ****. Similar to yourself. Have some perspective.

When people think back to Frank Gore's football days...in their head the voice will be narrated by John Facenda's thunderous tone. Dude is just a real ******* football player in an age where there aren't that many anymore.

Don't forget his serious shoulder surgeries with the 49ers too.

He needs 274 more rushing yards to be 4th all time.

He needs 238 more rushing yards for his 10th 1000 yard season.

3 more games left this year against:

- Broncos (3rd in Rushing D)
- @ Ravens (14th in Rushing D)
- Texans (10th in Rushing D)

It will be very difficult to hit those numbers especially with the Colts' line.

From Colts fans message board...these guys know what's up.

I was so wrong about hilton having a big game, i have to eat my crow. didn't know it was going to be the Blizzard of '78, but I'll take Gore substituting for giving hilton big yards any day. sure-fire hall of famer gave everything he had today, and then some.

Wouldn't it be "tours-de-force"?
But your right. 1st ballot.

True. I was more concerned about getting right the part about setting himself on fire, though.

I don't think his name belongs with the greats, but it will be hard to leave him off. Yards from scrimmage will also be top ten (including wrs). If he doesn't go, he will be the highest non-HOF on a bunch of stat lists.

Clown post.

He already is one of the greats.

Well then...You nailed it!

Be serious for a moment. In a draft of RBs, how far down would it take to get to Gore? He's in the Martin/Craig category, not the Sanders/Smith/Payton/Brown/Peterson/Tomlinson group.
