Kurtis Blow, sugar Hill and Grandmaster flash are the only ones I would consider tru old school in this Group. Run DMC were actually referred to as the “Sons of Kurtis Blow”. Kool Moe D made it around the time of PE but he’s definitely Old or older School. He was in parks at night in the late 70’s/early 80’s. BDP and Run were around the same time. - 1983 or so. Same with Schooly D in Philly.
