There's always a little twinkle in Saban's eye when he's talking to Mario vs all his other former coachesTrying to find the end of that interview where Saban praised Mario. I'm sure that meant the world to him given how much he respects Saban

That was perfect time for PA pass to LoftonLOVE at the end that Saban told him 3rd and 3 is not the time to go to goal line..
Wasnt in the clip but Mario did push back that now you get two downs to get the first and Saban got the cushy tv gig and changing his waysThat was perfect time for PA pass to Lofton

Each year Saban gets a little bit better. Never thought I’d say it. I enjoy him on the show.
I disliked him but I’m more of hate the game not the player either him too.I will never forget that Saban made generational wealth off of the bag game while Miami was almost shut down for a few rides on Nevin Shapiro boat.
Sorry what did the goat mean by that?Love this team. Great job Mario.

Also right after that exchange, Mario said he was going to kick McAfee’s *** one day lolWasnt in the clip but Mario did push back that now you get two downs to get the first and Saban got the cushy tv gig and changing his ways![]()
And then Mario fired back, “Since you’re up here making all the money you’ve changed because I learned it from you” (or something to that effect) and everyone burst into laughter…LOVE at the end that Saban told him 3rd and 3 is not the time to go to goal line..
Mario fired back at him afterwards saying, “I learned it from you”!Love this team. Great job Mario.

Basically, for the situation (i.e field position and timing) it was a bit too conservative to bring in 6-7 OL when you have two attempts at the 1stSorry what did the goat mean by that?
