College gameday will feature Miami vs Florida

What a phucking horrible idea.

Let me rephrase that: WHAT A PHUCKING HORRIBLE IDEA!

Two fan bases who hate each other's guts congregating at a "neutral" in-state venue could've made for an epic GameDay.

Instead, we get:

No signs, no banners, (and likely) no **** talking, no obscene gestures, etc.

Oh yeah, gonna charge us a ****load of $$$ to stand in the hot Florida sun for a couple hours to be bored out of our minds.

I guess we should've figured there would be an ESPN money grab since the UM and UFag administrations certainly didn't reschedule the game without some sort of financial compensation.

The alternative: Two fan bases that HATE each other, Gaturd and canes, mashed together in close proximity, under the hot sun, smelling each other’s stink, doing some morning drinking, and holding up signs insulting each other.

I’m sure there won’t be any hands thrown at all.

Remember usually college game day is just one fan base. Usually.

I still remember about 20 years ago he was coaching one of the college all star games before the draft and he was miked. And let off a stream of F bombs on the air that would have made an sailor proud

Kudos to ESPN and the crew for backing Corso in his time of need. He has dedicated his life to football .. as a coach and a pioneering commentator. Game Day exploded due to his unconventional approach and they made it fun for every body. And he calls them as he sees them. I attended a church event in DeLand, Florida last year and Lee Corso (who lives nearby in Lake Mary) was the guest speaker. Even though he is an Nole Alum .. when a lady (a Nole) asked "Mr. Corso .. you believe that FSU will be undefeated this year right? He laughed and responded "sorry my friend but FSU has some serious problems so I will go on to the next question".

I wonder if ESPN tried to have it at the stadium but Camping World rejected the idea. They could have seated people in the stands like they did some years ago at VT (think it was VT... they didn't want people tramping all over the field). To bad the whole stadium area is so dumpy or maybe they could have worked out something nearby but parking is hopeless anyway. Can't blame Disney, it's a Saturday & they have to consider all those coming in for the weekend who don't really care about the game.

Usually it is but i was at gameday for acccg against clemson that was alot of fun alot of trash talking to bad the game sucked

Yeah that was different. Those are Clemson fans. They are well mannered, even if were not.

We are talking about the turds. The last time I was around a bunch of those guys during a game was in the 2000s, the Teabag game in hogtown. Those hillbillies were talking crazy shlt to us. I’ve talked about it before on here

Not quite the same as drinking around the world, but it's a start. That was always my gripe. Why could I get a beer on a hot afternoon in every other park, but not MK.
