Hate to say it. But UF might buzzsaw Ole Miss. Last week was high emotion game. not sure they gonna match what UF brings.

If Ole Miss wins this game, have to put them as early faves- beating Louisville, LSU, and Gators. Would be the best early season resume.
 
Chambliss is probably the most dynamic QB in college but he’s also sometime undisciplined and pickable. He’d be my #2 choice after Mensah, who is more accurate and careful with the ball.

You guys are giving UF way too much credit. They’ve played dog**** up to now. Ole Miss wins comfortably. SEC overall is at most marginally better than the ACC.

Are those really "alternatives"?

ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ABC are the networks carrying the games people actually tune in to watch. Then you've got the conference networks, which are largely captive audiences for their respective leagues.

Look at today: Virginia Tech–Boston College is on ACC Network. That's technically an alternative to ESPN, but it's not exactly competing with ESPN for the same national audience.

And that's the bigger problem. Who is actually putting serious money behind a competing national college football product?

FOX is the only real counterweight to Disney/ESPN, and even FOX doesn't have the same breadth of college football inventory. The Big Ten is a major FOX/NBC/CBS property, while the SEC and ACC are heavily tied to ESPN.

So when people say, "There are alternatives," that's technically true.

But alternatives that people can watch aren't necessarily alternatives that can compete with the reach, money and distibution of ESPN/Disney

That's the distinction I'm making.
 
Don’t care about the heisman. Just win it all.

The NFL draft will tell and show everyone who the better qb is.

And it’s not even close imo.

Chambliss was lucky against us and he’s gotten lucky a few times this year watching where dbs drop interceptions.

He’s not good enough for the pros to be doing that.

College he is and I hope they steamroll the whole SEC so we can watch Scott and Moten blow up Kinsler(this board’s savior).

There is a reason this dude fought to get back into college because he isn't an NFL caliper player. If he was so good, he would've been told to come out and be picked by the Rams like the Bama QB.

There are technically other shows. I'm talking about meaningful national competition, not simply whether another channel happens to have a pregame show on it.

He is fantastic college QB. I don't believe what he does well fits the NFL.
