College football the first 3 weeks…

Texas struggling with utsa, bama and fsu, Kentucky and Texas an and m, Oklahoma and New Mexico.

We go on the road and win by 2 tds against a good wake team on a Friday night. I hear people say this unit or that unit isn’t playoff caliber. Yeah we have flaws we need to fix and clean up. We dominated wake in the 1st half and should have had our backups in by the 4th. There is a lot of parity in cfb but we’re a top 5 team right now capable of beating everyone.
 
1-0. Beat Central Michigan get guys healthy.

We need Fletcher and Mali 100% @Clemson.

After a slow start they outscored UNC 28-3 to end that game. They have morw talent than anyone we play until ND.

If they beat Cal on road then that place will be a zoo when Miami comes to town.

Figure out the oline, get a couple players back mid season or by ND, don’t lose to an inferior team and peak at the end. Run this offense the whole game and we can score 40 plus on anyone.

I agree and that’s why I’m on board with McCoy moving to RG, Cantwell RT, Congdon/Buchanan/other at LG this week. Let SJ get some snaps at C to see what’s there.
Or go with McCoy at LG to solidify that side and let the young guys take the right side and grow each week so we can be ready for nd nov 7.
On D do the same with young LBs and Corners. The greatest growth and ceiling come November and beyond is a youth movement in those spots imo.

I’m confident Mario & Co will figure it out. They have to see what we see, especially on the OL.

GO CANES! Don’t take it easy on my alma mater this week!

All of this is true but our Inside OL is cheeks and wont be able to hold up against the top 5 teams.
