College football team talent (247)

Lingard clearly listed as a 5 star in the list and it says 0 5 Stars. Also, Dean listed at .81 3 star when he was a 4 star in the .9000 range. Probably more reflects his play thus far but that was his rating out of high school.

Assuming they did all the other teams correctly, which I think they did because they're all close to 85, we'd probably be around the 12-13th best ranked roster in the country rn.

He was a 4 star out of JC

I'm actually starting to think the elite offensive guys won't want to play for Richt, which is opposite of what I thought at first

This is impossibly dumb when you look at our Offense recruiting, especially in 2018. The lack of talent is from Golden's 2015 class and all the attrition from 2016 class

That shouldn't surprise you, there are a lot of dumb, reactionary posters on this board.

Still, it keeps things entertaining.

I just yearn for the day we do more with less. We haven’t ‘out coached’ a team since what, the early 90’s?

ND last year doesnt count? FSU doesn't count?

Both teams had significantly more talent than us per recruiting rankings, which you and almost everyone else think is the gospel.

So if beating those much more talented teams isn't doing more with less, what exactly is?

I think recruiting rankings are gospel? Where would you get that impression? Or are you just making **** up?

Our ranking shoots up significantly the next two years. Our 15 and 16 classes were weak, although it had some bright spots here and there.

I went through and fixed the count, since apparently the employees at 247 can't count right.

I ranked the teams by number of 4&5 star recruits on the current roster, and I added the famous "blue chip ratio" for anyone interested.

Miami ends up at #15.

I think this may be old. Before the season there was an article showing that Miami is catching up with the desired blue chip ratio. It had us at 46% and I remember noticing LSU around 63%
