It's not a hard concept. Run the team with military-like discipline and accountability along with good recruiting/player development. It's the same thing Miami did for our 5 championships. The only new wrinkle is using a massive amount of modern analytics in order to put the players in the best possible position to win. 95% of coaches don't understand this or don't care. Oklahoma's coach is supposed to be an offensive genius but he chooses not play defense and now he's paying
Seems to be a decent spread team always find its too hard for it to develop a decent defense.bama is tops from qb-rb-te-oline-wr.same way on defense.just build a total team with no weaknesses to beat bama.

Bruh, if we have a non-dementia ridden coach, we are probably in playoffs last year, even with a loss to Clemson in ACC championship. It doesn't take much for us to run through the crappy coastal for a play-in game for the playoffs. A coach like Heupel, Babers, or Leach has Miami in the ACC championship game in his first year.
